We’ve made it to the last day of Wear to Where! It’s appropriate to that outfits we’re styling and sewing today are party clothes. We also figured that since it’s Memorial Day weekend and it’s the unofficial start of summer, we’d show off the best picnic and summer party outfits.

Today’s Wear to Where is showing off your best sports attire. Summer is the time for baseball and the most important part of baseball is tailgating in the parking lot before the game.
My sporting attire consists of a shirt that has 412 splashed across it (as modeled so awkwardly here) so I’d have to say that these lovely ladies are much more imaginative and stylish than I am when representing their favorite team. Check out Jessica, Ronda, Kat, and Nicole root for the home team.

Today’s Wear to Where is something that’s either you love or hate: a wedding. You’re either thrilled to share in the love of two people or you’re bitter as hell because you’re always invited but never the one throwing the party.

Today’s fashionably dressed wedding guests are Katy, Amy, and Meghan. I’m all about the lace overlays and Meghan’s pop of pink shoes!

There is one place you will never catch me: in the woods. Camping, glamping, or any variation thereof is just not for me. I’m about as outdoorsy as drinking on a patio (occasionally a boat) and that’s about it.

Today kicks off the first day of Wear to Where: Spring edition! We have a full week of spring outfits planned that have either been sewn or styled, depending on your talent level. I know my talent level with sewing my own fashions is still pretty low despite having the best of intentions and purchasing patterns from Patterns for Pirates and fabric to complete some tops. Maybe this year?
Anyway, we’re kicking off the tour with a festival look. Sarah looks gorgeous in her flowing (and oh-so-talentedly sewn) wrap and Jamie looks ready for a true festival.
Me on the other hand. Well, I don’t do the boho thing. I’m pretty predictable. T-shirt, jeans, sneakers. Definitely not a festival look based on Wanderlust & Co.’s Instagram feed (which by the way, was how I figured I would get inspiration since I haven’t attended any festivals).
That proved false inspiration as I’m not wandering around in bralettes or high-waisted cut off shorts that resemble denim diapers more than they resemble clothing.

I threw some boho detailing into my outfit with sheer lace panels in the flowy top and flower embroidery. Plus a tangle of brightly colored seed necklaces and some braids and I’m good to go.
