Wear to Where, Day 4 – Rocker Chic Date Night Out

November 13, 2015

Honestly, I have no idea why I decided to talk about date night outfits. I was thinking about doing a helpful post that showed you how to transition from work wear to date wear, but really, I just slap on another layer of makeup and roll out the door in whatever I wore to work that day (see: my office isn’t super formal). So that idea was out.

And then I got to thinking. No matter what you put on, you want to be confident on a date, whether it’s the first one or the 500th. That’s the best thing you can wear.

That and some heels.

I picked up this jacket because I love the asymmetrical zipper and the leather details along the shoulder and sleeves. It’s a perfect date night piece because it’s a little edgy and it’ll keep you warm. What is it with women’s fancy clothes being basically thread while men can wear jackets and thick denim jeans and be toasty? It isn’t fair!

See how Wear.Wag.Repeat, If Only They Would Nap, The Wholesome Mama, Made by Sara are so rockin’ date night this week, too!

    Angelica, loverpants, I love this look on you! The jacket, the necklaces, the jeans…the heels that I could never wear because I’d take them off in a minute. Perfection.

      Thank you, ladybug! It all came together last minute haha. I’d definitely not wear this at a brewery but I couldn’t resist adding heels. Converse sneakers are a much more “me in real life” move.

    Angelica, I LOVE that jacket! It’s such a great shape! This is the perfect date night outfit,you look so happy and confident in it 🙂

      Thanks, Niki! The jacket was a total impulse purchase but I get compliments every time I wear it, I’m so glad I found it. Jack + Jules has beautiful things.

    I love the wide cuff on your pants! I can never ever find a pair that look like that on me. The cuff is always so small or baggy on my chicken legs. (;

    I love the simplicity of this chic look.

    Hot stuff chica! I love the rocker look for date night. That jacket is amazing and you are killing it with the layered necklaces!
